Behaviors that obedient dogs often do
It is said that dogs often behave obediently or affectionately to those they recognize as “companies”, such as their owners and their families. However, even among dogs, the degree of obedience varies from dog to dog.
Here are some of the gestures and behaviors that dogs, especially those who are obedient to their owners, often show. Please see it as a part of the reference to know the character of your dog.
1. Stare at the owner
Do you have many experiences on a daily basis that your dog was staring at you as if you were looking up at it when you suddenly felt your gaze and turned to it?
Dogs that are obedient to their owners are always waiting for instructions from their owners and believe that they can respond whenever they are instructed to do so.
Therefore, basically, such dogs are observing their owners looking up from below, and often show gestures and attitudes to prepare for instructions at any time.
2. When you call out, you turn around immediately
How does your dog react when the owner speaks to you? Some dogs just glance at you, while others happily run up.
Among dogs, dogs with a strong degree of obedience to their owners often turn around immediately when they are called out, waiting for their owner’s instructions and observing their behavior.
Not to mention the dogs that run up, it is thought that they are obedient and care about their owners just by turning around when they are called out.
3. Follow the instructions you learned
I think that many owners learn basic movements such as “sitting”, “lying down”, and “waiting” through training. These basic movements are very important for your daily life safely and comfortably.
If your dog reacts immediately and takes action when you instruct such a completed instruction action, you can say that you have an obedient personality that tries to meet the expectations of the owner.
Of course, no dog can put into action any instructions that it has never learned. Also, learning speed has nothing to do with obedience, so there’s no such thing as “I’m slow to remember and don’t listen to me.”
4. Wait quietly until the owner’s errand is over
I love the owner! I want the owner to bite me! Many dogs think that. Some dogs even appeal to “get caught” and even forcefully cause problematic behavior to attract the attention of their owners.
However, obedient dogs often stand by, watching their owners seem to be busy, while showing a slight “I want you to bite” and “I want to spoil you”.
You can look up and observe from a close distance, or you can sit next to you and wait quietly. Obedience and forgiveness of your dog can be seen and hidden in these casual behaviors.
5. No aggressive reaction when touching any part
Dogs don’t like being stroked from above or touching the tip of their body (tail, nose, etc.). However, many owners will say, “You won’t get angry if you touch it.” In fact, it can be said that these reactions also show the obedience of the dog.
There are many dogs, such as strong-willed dogs, timid dogs, vigilant dogs, and self-paced dogs, who insist that they don’t want to be touched here!
This reaction does not mean that there is a problem, but it is often simply the personality that has an effect. On the other hand, many dogs with a strong obedient nature take the attitude of “forgive” if the owner is the other party, even if it is unpleasant.
summary
How was it. Dogs are generally known as obedient animals, but their personalities are very different.
Just because the gestures and behaviors I’ve introduced here don’t apply to your dog doesn’t mean it’s bad. While respecting the personality of each dog, make an effort to make it easier for your dog to live.
