Prime Matter and Smilegate announced that the early access of ‘Crossfire: Legion’ was released on May 25th.

Crossfire: Legion‘ is a PC-based real-time strategy (RTS) game developed using Smilegate’s Crossfire IP. Based on the crossfire worldview, it is set in a world war in the near future, in which three powers, a giant military corporation and a terrorist, fight for their ideology.

The core of the battle is to create your own army through 45 units such as air/transport/infantry/tank and 6 commanders, strategize, collect resources, and occupy an advantageous area for battle.

In addition, the campaign mode with Crossfire’s powerful narrative allows you to test various units and commanders and increase your strategy to compete. Each commander has unique abilities that can turn the tide of battle. To win in multiplayer mode, it is essential to understand the unique abilities of this commander and unit and strategize against them.

“Crossfire: Legions is inspired by the classic RTS, and features a modern and sophisticated look at the military, maps and game customizations without losing the classic look,” said Maurice Grella, game designer at developer Blackbird Interactive. , “The most important thing we had in mind when designing Crossfire: Region was the opinions of the fans of the RTS genre. We are very happy to finally be able to present the Early Access, and we would like to hear from the fans who have grown up with the RTS genre.” He added.

CrossFire: Region will continue to update various content after the release of Early Access, as well as introduce local e-sports competitions, and more information can be found on the official website and Steam page.
