Foodle is a word game developed by Daniel Anyanwoke and inspired by Wordle. The biggest difference between Foodle and Wordle is that Foodle asks players to think of food responses. The game took off soon after it was developed, and playing it is quite easy.

Foodle rules and how to play

Players must think of five-letter words to put in, with the answer being a food-related word, such as frosting. You will receive color feedback based on the word you typed. Green means the letter is in the right place, yellow means the letter is correct but in the wrong place, and gray means the letter does not belong in the word at all.

We recommend starting with the sauce as it takes care of three vowels. After six attempts to guess the word correctly, you will have to try again the next day. Foodle has a daily correct answer, just like Worldle. Every day a new answer word is added to the Foodle website, so you can come back every day for a new challenge. Foodle is more likely to appeal to chefs and food industry enthusiasts than other Wordle spin-offs.
