The NES emulator is a one-stop shop if you want to enjoy the feel of good old-school games on your favorite iPhone or iPod. Especially for kids who have never enjoyed NES games, installing an NES emulator on your iPhone offers a chance to enjoy this ancient beauty. I personally love old style games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon and many more. If you want to play these, you can install the NEW emulator on your iPhone as follows.
iPhones come with iOS14 system, which can run many high-graphics games, but not the old NES games. In order to play these games, users need to install a specific emulator to emulate the NES platforms on their iPhones. Luckily, there are plenty of emulators on the App Store for you to try.
However, most of these Appstore emulators are not configured properly and are not as pleasant as the classics. Today I am going to tell you the perfect and easy way to install NES emulator to play NES games on your iPhone.
How do I install NES Emulator on iPhone?
Since Apple doesn’t allow full-fledged emulator apps in their app store, you won’t find any good ones due to their terms and conditions. But do not worry. Other alternative app stores have some very good emulators that you can play NES games in.
Step 1: Download the emulator to your iPhone
Countless websites make it quick, free and easy to download emulators for your iPhone. One of them is tweakboxapp.com. Here you can download the Delta emulator that can run all NES game files.
Open tweakboxapp.com in your Safari browser.
Click the Download button. A new dialog box will appear to confirm the action.
After the profile has been downloaded, go to Settings.
From here, click the Profile Downloaded option.
Click Install. You will be asked for your password or Face ID.
After successful installation, the Tweakbox Appstore will be installed on your iPhone.
Open the TweakBox AppStore and search for the NES emulator.
Find one, download it and go to step 2.
Step 2: Download the game files
The NES emulator is ready. Now it’s time for us to find some game files. Note: You can now remove the TweakBox Appstore if you don’t want to use it again.
This step is a self research step as you need to find game files for the games you want to play. Download the game files to a local folder on your iPhone. After finding the NES game files, we can proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Install and play games
After finding the NES game file, you can load it into the NES emulator, which you download from the TweakBox Appstore.
Open the NESemu app on your iPhone and go to the Load Games option.
Locate the game files you downloaded in step 2.
Run the game and enjoy.
Note: Don’t forget to save your game settings/game progress. Otherwise, all games will run from the beginning.
After successfully installing the perfect NES emulator for your iPhone, you can now enjoy all the old classic games that you want to play again. The list of these games goes on and on, so you may need help deciding which games to play first. My advice to you will be The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon and Super Mario 64 as they are the definition of old retro gaming.
I hope you have a wonderful playing time. If you encounter any problem while installing NES emulator on your iPhone, don’t forget to let us know in the comment section.
