The Indian Premier League cricket player auction will take place over the weekend. Here’s what you need to know about IPL 2022’s mega auction.

1. The mega auction of IPL will be held on February 12 and 13 in Bangalore. The auction will start at 11 o’clock. The IPL auction will be broadcast live on Star Sports.
2. The base price of 47 cricketers is a maximum of Rs 2 crore. base price of 20 cricketers is Rs 1.5 crore. The base price of 34 cricketers is 1 crore rupees. Besides, cricketers with minimum prices of Rs 75 lakh, Rs 50 lakh, Rs 40 lakh, Rs 30 lakh and Rs 20 lakh are on the auction list.
3. 228 international cricket stars are on the auction list. A total of 355 domestic and Indian cricketers will take part in the auction.
4. There are going to be 15 countries represented at this year’s IPL auction, including India. The top 48 cricketers from Australia are on the list. The auction will also feature cricketers from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Nepal, Scotland, and the USA.
5. 17 from Afghanistan, 5 from Bangladesh, 24 from England, 5 from Ireland, 24 from New Zealand, 33 from South Africa, 23 from Sri Lanka, 34 from West Indies, 1 from Zimbabwe, 3 from Namibia, 1 from Nepal, 2 from Scotland and 1 American cricketer will take part in the auction.
6. A total of 15 Bengal cricketers will take part in the IPL auction. The list includes Mohammad Shami, Riddhiman Saha, Shahbaz Ahmed, Akash Deep, Mukesh Kumar, Ishan Porel, Ritwik Roychowdhury, Srivastava Goswami, Sudip Chattopadhyay, Abhimanyu Ishwaran, Kaif Ahmed, Manoj Tiwari, Prayas Raybaram, Goswami.
