‘Kart Rider: Drift‘ introduces a cross-play environment that crosses the boundaries between PC, console and mobile for the first time in Nexon.
Nexon (CEO Lee Jeong-heon) announced on the 27th that its new global racing game, ‘Kart Rider: Drift’, will additionally support mobile platforms in addition to PC and consoles.
‘KartRider: Drift‘ is a next-generation multi-platform racing game that is being developed for the global market based on ‘KartRider’. It is equipped with 4K UHD graphics and HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology to provide a realistic driving experience.
After conducting the first trial test on PC and Xbox One, the game expanded the target platform to PlayStation 4 (PS4) in the third test last year. Then, in May of this year, through an in-house test for employees, it intensively verified the stability of play in the mobile environment and completed the check to add a new platform.
With this, Nexon will be able to enjoy ‘Kart Rider: Drift’ together with ▲PC (Nexon.com and Nexon global integrated launcher) ▲Console (Xbox One, PS4) ▲Mobile (iOS, Android) users anytime, anywhere, on any platform and device they want. It has a high cross-play environment.
Nitro Studio CEO Seo Jae-woo said, “We are mobilizing all our technical capabilities to build an environment that allows racing with the best performance on any platform.” .
