We’re talking ‘The Mandalorian’ for this one, and right off the bat there is the Dark Saber, a present for Baby Yoda/Grogu, and the lil Jedi wam bam will definitely be here for Season 3. In ‘The Book of Boba Fett,’ we find the second longest episode, ‘Return of the Mandalorian.’ We recommend you watch it all the way through. This episode of ‘The Mandalorian,’ which will cause quite the stir among fans, is actually a backdoor pilot for the upcoming third season.

As a skilled bounty hunter, Mando is doing what he does best after his epic battle with Moff Gideon. Although he has won a Dark Saber during combat, he struggles to use it. The blade, which sported a 1000-year-old forged Beskar hilt, is entirely out of Mando’s control. Additionally, when the Mandalorian reveals to the Armorer that he has actually removed his helmet, she disavows him as a Mandalorian. Peli Motto offers Mando a Razor Crest replacement after he visits Tatooine and meets with a disgruntled Mando.

It looks as if they rebuilt an N-1 Starfighter in what is a ridiculously sexy upgrade. In terms of Grogu’s return, there are two plotlines that suggest as much – a present for the foundling forged from Mando’s Beskar spear and a small co-pilot seat on the N-1. Reviewing ‘Return of the Mandalorian’ is tough considering all the excitement it adds to the table. With a stellar premiere season, it did even better with the sequel and spawned multiple ‘Star Wars’ spin-offs, the latest of which was ‘The Book of Boba Fett.

This episode does Mando justice by focusing its entire screentime on him, with Fennec Shand collaborating with Boba Fett towards the end of the episode to take down the Mayor and the Pyke syndicate. Jon Favreau brings back the familiar theme and the explosive action of ‘The Mandalorian’ in this chapter.
