he Daily Beast reports that Warner’s Flash is also in the crosshairs of justice in Massachusetts where during an event organized last February in the house of a friend of Miller, this one arrived in vest by bullets and showed he was carrying a gun when a board game got out of hand.
Witnesses say Miller yelled at them. A 12-year-old non-binary child present that day obtained a protective order against Miller, who then sought to recontract him on several occasions.
More recently, Ezra Miller deleted his Instagram account after mocking law enforcement wanting to find him.
All these slippages worry Warner who cannot however fire him from the solo film The Flash directed by Andy Muschietti and whose release is expected for 2023.
With a budget of $200 million, The Flash will see the returns of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman. The Flash is meant to be one of the spearheads of the DCEU’s revival.
” Warner Bros. can’t be a winner in the deal, ” a studio source told Deadline. “ The hope is that the scandal stays low before the movie comes out, and things work out. ”
However, sources inside Warner suggest that Ezra Miller is no longer part of the company’s future plans. ” Even if no other charges surface, the studio is unlikely to keep Miller as The Flash for future DC movies, ” Deadline said.
In the meantime, the upcoming news for DC/Warner is the release of Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson.
