You might have placed a wager on who can solve today’s Wordle with the fewest guesses. You might believe that by using cheats to open Wordle, you’ll be able to free yourself from its grip. How to Cheat at Wordle
You can work out the answer before entering any solutions in the version that tracks your guesses by switching to Incognito mode in your browser. You can use your main window for your ‘correct’ guesses this way (read: guesses you show your friends). All we ask is that you don’t make it too obvious, okay? After a couple of misses, you miraculously got the word right on your third attempt.
Incognito mode isn’t just for cheating anymore. On a particularly difficult day, it can also be a way to increase your number of guesses. Because there is no cookie data to save your attempts, the Wordle website will be blank every time you visit it. So, if after five guesses you’re still stumped but don’t want to reveal the answer, hit refresh and keep going. It’s particularly useful when the word of the day is something like ‘tacit.’

Make sure the letter count is set to five, then enter the green letters you do have and place them in the appropriate locations. When you press enter, you’ll see all of the possible solutions to today’s puzzle.

Right-click anywhere on the Wordle home page to get started. From the dropdown menu, choose inspect:
To access the search bar, go to the Sources tab and click the three dots in the top right corner (or press CTRL + Shift + F). If you type today’s answer into the search box, some code snippets should appear in the inspect panel’s viewing window at the bottom. Choose the one with the address ‘/games/wordle/main’:
This brings up the debugger window with the code. Press CTRL + F and type in today’s answer once more. This will take you to the answer in the word list, and then you can just read along to see what words will appear in the days ahead:
