Niantic.inc has revealed the details of ‘Pokémon GO Fest 2022’, the biggest annual event of the real world game “Pokémon GO”.
‘Pokémon GO Fest 2022’ will be held online for two days on the 4th and 5th of June, and the fantasy Pokemon ‘Shaymy’ will appear in “Pokémon GO” for the first time. All trainers, with or without a ticket, can participate in four different habitat rotations that change every hour, newly added Pokémon with different colors, free event-limited outfits, and trainer photo introduction events.
On the first day of the event, Pokémon tailored to the four different habitat themes, which change over time, such as city, plain, rainforest, and snowfield, will appear, and special paper pollen will be blown away to heighten the festive atmosphere. On the second day, the Global Challenge Arena will be held, and a specific Pokémon will appear in the Legendary Raid Battle for the first time.
Participation tickets are sold for $14.99 in the in-game shop, and various additional benefits such as event-limited special research and costume items are provided. Ticket buyers can acquire not only Global Challenge Arena bonuses on the first day, but also ‘Shaymy (Land Form)’ upon completion of Special Research.
In addition, if you spin the gym photo disk for two days, you can receive up to 9 raid passes for free, and when you use the ‘Censer’, you are more likely to encounter Pokemon of different colors in the wild, which increases significantly on Saturday.
